What is hydroponics farming?
Hydroponics farming is accomplished by growing plants in a medium other than soil with a daily, timed output of nutrient water applied by a timed schedule.

How is hydroponics farming different from traditional dirt farming?
Hydroponics farming is different from traditional farming but in a way they are the same. You are still trying to grow a plant in an environment except in hydroponics farming it is a controlled environment. Hydroponics is micro-farming and requires a much closer management regimen than that of a large scale agriculture production. It is based on each individual plant being groomed to reach its full potential.

What are the advantages of using hydroponics produce?
Hydroponics coupled with a greenhouse environment allows the farmer to produce a quality cropt with little outside influence. Many of the variables surrounding large scale agriculture, such as weather, diseases and insects are minimized, if not eliminated, by a greenhouse environment. This allows the produce to be free of pesticides that are normally used in the production of crops in soil.
